Course Content

This course is delivered by e-Learning and consists of six modules; three of which are mandatory and three are chosen from optional modules. The modules are as follows:

Who will benefit

The course will benefit anyone seeking professional recognition and qualification within the security sector. The course is open to all those who operate within the private and public security sectors.

People who have previously taken the qualification include security managers, health and safety managers, police, fire service personnel and members of the armed services.

Assessment Method

During the course learners complete 6 modules which are assessed by short written answers.  There is no examination at the end of the course however learners need to pass each module in order to receive the BTEC Level 3 qualification.

• Assessed by means of short answer tasks no examination required
• No classroom attendance required
• Upon completion
• Learners who excel will be entered into the running for the prestigious John Aplin Award for Student of the Year
